This is a remarkable story, not least of all because it deals with a less common transformation theme and kink. The prose is tight, well-written and well-edited with a perfectly controlled narrative arc. It also really communicates a character and his mental state as he pursues his sneaker fetish, which ends in the realization of his fantasy. Damn dude another great chapter. When the writers block damn broke you came gushing forth. I love how all the guys he fucks are hot. That's the fantasy. To be able to hook up with guy after guy that is totally out of out league. You haven't described Marc very much but you don't have to. Love is blind and lust hast eyes like an eagle. I want to keep commenting but don’t have much more to say other than that I’m loving this story and want to read more :) Ok, maybe a little more. I love the changes to Caleb. I love the narrator wondering if there’s another ring. I suspect that’s just a way to get the reader to think there might be and Caleb transformed at the same time that the narrator had his second fuck with the same guy, but I’ll be happy either way. Given how easy it was for the narrator to get the ring, it would seem likely that it would be easy for someone else to get another. Also, in the context of my forum question about what makes characters interesting... I don’t find the narrator that interesting. I don’t really want to know more about him. I can’t remember how attractive he is, or if he’s smart or not. I assume he was smart from how worried his prof was about his quiz, but ultimately, what I’m interested in is how he is changing everyone else. Also maybe how he kind of seems to feel something for Riley. I guess it’s actually Riley I want to know more about. Partially because of how attractive you made him (to me; love me some muscular rugby player with thick thighs). Marc is kind of a cipher, allowing the reader to project whatever into him. A cipher with apparently no morals, no interest in examining his lack of morals and if the ring has changed him. All of which is exactly what I want :) It just hasn’t made me interested in him personally, beyond what he’s doing now. Not sure that makes sense. Totally meant as an observation, and not as a slam. I am loving the story, and loving it being told from Marc’s perspective and him bringing us along for the ride.

i know this is fantasy, but it still bothers me a little that the arrangement is non-consensual with drone-level control. The other thing that bothers me a little is that to my knowledge and experience no hypnosis gives that much control so quickly. i tend to be more forgiving when the category is "powers and magic". i prefer my hypnosis stories to feel more authentic. (i know: this is fantasy, and i need to get over it!! ...okay, i'm over it!!) That all said this story is so hot to a large extent because it is non-consensual and the control and power are so strong. i thought it was particularly arousing that Matthew and Cameron both deliberately re-used the control app on their phones when they felt uneasy about their programming becoming less effective -- very insidious and very hot!
