Amos is transformed by Argos, a member of an ancient race known as Goliaths. Amos is unable to contact his best friend Sam. Fearing that Amos is in trouble, Sam arrived to look for his friend but is mistaken for someone sent to spy on the Goliaths. Sam is interrogated but escapes. In this chapter we find that Sam runs into an even greater challenge, while Amos learns more about his transformation.
