I loved the story, but honestly, this ending wasn't for me. I do hope this isn't the final chapter, as the story being left off here, for me, would be incredibly unsatisfying, to my tastes of course. Everyone else seems to like it, and I'm glad that's the case and the writing is good. However to me, if it left off here, or it turns out Eddie's mind is erased, and his body is a brainless husk of some sort, then my personal interest and love for this story before would be gone, as it end off feeling like torture porn, and that the main character is made to suffer for the sake of suffering. I actually genuinely like Eddie, as even before and after being rewritten, he was genuinely a good guy doing what's right, and he's made to suffer for it, and be punished on top of his suffering. It also feels weird to me that it's been hinted so many times that Yusuf wants Eddie, but most choices he make are made to spite and alienate him, and I now understand the character motivation as stated in this chapter, but it still doesn't feel satisfying because Eddie still wasn't part of the family, and the Eddie Wasfi stuff ended up more punishing to read, as it felt like there's no possible way for him to ever be happy now. I'll hold out for the epilogue, as i think there's still plans for this story. Don't get me wrong, I don't want a perfect ending, or a "Eddie saves the day," kind of plot, I quite enjoy these kinds of stories, and bittersweet ending and bad endings are my favorite things, especially endings where a family or person changes and they all fuck in an eternal lust frenzy, a shadow of their former selves. But this wasn't it for me, and in the end, the story was hard to personally enjoy because of the pain and suffering the protagonist was put through in the last seconds. ~~My personal preferred ending would be something along the lines of Eddie being Yusuf's wife after all this or something.~~ Anyways 10/10, good writing. It's great. The protagonist is one of the best i've seen in this site and I'll be personally mourning him if in the epilogue he's brain dead, or a drone or something like that. Also i like Yusuf and especially like the scene of Eddie changing his father. If this story was meant to be a tragedy of any sort, you did an amazing job! If it was a just a horny story, its fucking fantastic! All my negative feelings we're just personal taste so please dont take this as me criticizing your work.
